    He didn't just strum away at the guitar all of the time though - I agree with you to the extent I enjoyed it more when he was playing instruments other than the guitar i.e. viola and accordian etc, but I don't think the lead guitarist wasn't the best. He got some brilliant sounds out of that guitar with those effects. Either way - a great gig to experience anyway, quite unique!

    I wasn't as much into the rockier, indie type stuff. I think he should stick to his strengths a bit more and not just strum away at the guitar with some noise layered over it. Plus I thought the lead guitarist wasn't the best.

    Incredible energy - and some really innovative musical techniques (shall have to try the power drill thing on my guitar). More rocky than I expected to, but it was still testament as to how bloody talented he is! No support band but worth the hour wait before hand! As for the viola bows - I too am envious, but at least I got a setlist!

    Yeah, it was much more rockier (post-rock like Mogwai actually) than expected but I loved it. Was there a support band, I arrived late? See my review of the concert!

    :) bit rockier than i'd expected if i'm honest. and no rue des cascades or tout est calme. but that's just a personal thing. enjoyed la crise muchly.
