So I'm not actually from New York. I don't even live in the east coast. But I was in NYC with my school, and the dates we stayed coincided with the day Air and AM would be playing at Terminal 5: March 19th 2010.
I went with my English teacher (seriously) and a buddy and we had a blast.
Terminal 5 is fucking awesome
I didn't know what to expect from AM but I thought they were great
Alpha Beta Gaga is seriously badass live
So was everything else (with perhaps the possible exception ofCherry Blossom Girl, which I loved way more on the album)
Felt sad at the lack of the sitar inJ'ai Dormi Sous L'eau and the end snippet of dialogue from How Does It Make You Feel? but for two guys and a drummer JB and Nicolas did a phenomenal job.
Also Love was fucking AMAZING live (it's the bass), and so wasTropical Disease. I now love Love 2 waaaaay more than I already did before.
(It was great too because I went back to my hotel room and was able to catch them on Jimmy Kimmel shortly afterwards!)
