    Saw The Weather Underground at TIMF and they were awesome! I just found out they are opening for the Walkmen @ The Independent in SF!! THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING!!! cannot wait! i already have my ticket!

    yep awesome indeed. great music, good food, cool booths, the arcade, the ferris wheel, thekiler view, the suprpisingly efficient transportation. the only compaint i have is the lack of atm machines. cmon, all they had were those two machines they brought in from the greek.

    Saturday was the best lineup EVER!!!!! starting with dengue fever and the grand finale with thievery corp!!! they should have more festivals like that!!!!

    The fantastic music aside -- Two Gallants and BtS were great -- wasn't the transportation just super-efficient? (Granted, I skipped out a third of the way into Modest Mouse's set.) But it took me all of, what, 20 minutes getting on and off the island? And that killer view, both by day and night? The cool booths? I really hope this happens again next year...

    Sunday was awesome! Modest Mouse, Spoon, Sea Wolf, The Weather Underground, Devil makes three, & Two Gallants were all great. this was my first festival ever!
