Trondheim Metal Fest 2016

Trondheim Metal Fest kicks off its seventh year in October, once again at Scandic Lerkendal, which is the biggest conference hotel in the Norway. So come October 6.-8., we´re taking over the entire hotel and its facilities, turning it into the most exclusive festival venue you can imagine! Three stages with a total of 2200 capacity, a metal market area, Q&A´s, clinics, cinema, meet&greets, quiz, tattoo stands, restaurant, bars, snack shop, gym, sauna, lounge areas and exiting travel excursions around Trondheim. At 75 meters, the hotel is also Norway´s third tallest building, with a skybar/conference room on the top floor, which has an exclusive panoramic view of the city. This will be used for a series of activities during daytime, and turned into a skybar with metal karaoke once the darkness falls.
The hotel is Norway's largest facility for meetings and conferences, with a capacity of 23,000 people (in partnership with Lerkendal Stadium next door). 50 meeting rooms, including a large conference hall that is the biggest in the city at 1 420 m²! Scandic Lerkendal is also built as the world's most energy-efficient hotel, with an energy consumption of 50 kwh/m²/year. Lerkendal Stadium is also the home of Norway´s best football team, Rosenborg Ballklub!
