been here since may 21st and lost 3530 songs and thats no good :)

I think "profiles" here refers to the various numbers that used to be visible under Profile Editor, for the same username. Merging distinct usernames sounds like a whole new can of worms.

lost all my stats
and it doesnt end there, i got some new stats with stuff i dont have on my playlist >.<

Alright then, I heard that profile merging to a different username will be an option sometime, thought he was referring to that.

NO OFFENSE... but hmmm that TOP FANS thingy lost it's sense now.... How can someone be a TOP Fan with 1/79.... while I am only No. 46 Fan with 8/298?

Because the person who listened to the artist only 79 times is a bigger fan than you are. It's their #1 artist, while to you, the artist is only worth an 8th position on your playlist.

I'm not a big favourite of the new top fans.

Smaller groups don't seem to have anymore fans, since nobody has them in their top 50, which is normal for a band who has only released one CD.

Maybe it's good to have a mix between the position on your list and the number of times listened to it.

eg: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/music/Orange%20Black
It's a small local band and I'm quite intrigued on who else here listen to them, but there are no more top fabs.

"Allmost ready to re-open submissions"

Any indication on when the submission will be up again? I signed up just before your 'little overhaul' this weekend and since then I've been looking forward to submit my cached stats. :D

no pressure, but if it takes another few hours I could stop watching the plugin status messages for now :P

To add to my previous message: I've seen you always get added to the top fans when you've listened to an artist at least 15 times.

Maybe you can lower this for the smaller groups/artists?

Maybe there should be a setting in one's profile where one can choose which way one wants to have the Top Fans listed, the old way or the new way. That would be great.

Yep I started that day as well and have gone from 2000+ to 3! (although there are 33 plays of Blur in the artists profiles) . Any connection do you think?. Anyone else from the 21/05 brigade been unfairly annihilated stats-wise?
