  Hi everyone. ECM and New Series are my all time favourite record labels. I guess I have about 400 titles. Manfred Eicher has created quite a unique label which in all cases is beautifully produced with great care and attention. The artwork, though minimal has always been so and does not detract from the listening experience, in fact it enhances the whole package. I noticed a comment, what is your favourite ECM album? All I can say is whatever album is just about to be played on my Hi Fi would qualify as my favourite. I never get tied of listening

  My first ECM album was Return to Forever with Airto Moreira, Flora Purim and Stanley Clark, a legendary one, i guess. A few years later i discovered Stephan Micus, he is an uncomparable contemporary musician, ECM has a sixth sense for people like him. Since then when i see these three letters, i'm just convinced about a genious on the CD...
