Group for EU Citizens.

Beware of the following: Norway is not in the EU. Nor are Turkey, Iceland and Switzerland. Please don't accept users who haven't declared their nationality on their profile.*

The forum is open to all and multilingual. Users are welcomed and encouraged to post in their own language, with the restriction that individual threads should be in one language.

All members can post to the group journal. Entries should be of general interest (i.e. not one member's daily activities, unless they're uniquely fascinating).

Hi guys, how're you? Thanks for accepting! I was reading some shouts about EU and I have to say some of them make me laugh:-). Well, I think all European countries must be united to better facing up to the new challenges of this mad World, so globalized and more and more dominated by superpowers: in other words, Europe must be united (in diversity) if it wants to survive. So, I think EU is such a good thing for us, EU citizens. Greetings from Italy!

In first place any country can leave EU at will... "Any Member State may decide to withdraw from the Union in accordance with its own constitutional requirements." And EU is just international organization right now.
