  I find I listen to the music first, not paying attention to the words. I listen to them as an added texture to the music like a guitar, synth, percussion or what have you. Thus, Female vocal trance is very enjoyable to me.

  So true! I like good lyrics in a good song, but what's the use of them in a song, where the music sucks? On the other way around, I listened to good music, that got destroyed by bad lyrics. ;)

  Even in mainstream music, I don't really care about the lyrics. Let's face it, many lyrics are overused. I personally just find the music itself, aside from the message, way more important. It's why I can't quote song lyrics from even my favorite bands when you ask me. I have to be listening to the song to sing along.
