I saw him play The Drums in San Francisco, so amazing. At the time I wasn't familiar with him by name, or his coincidental involvement with Pink & Brown and Coachwhips... so it was weird meeting him beforehand at the venue, not even knowing he was a musician, seeing him perform, and later finding out he was part of two bands I love. I don't know. Whatever.

i spoke to Lars from the intelligence after a copenhagen show, and he said that John usually lets them stay at his house, gives them food and drugs, and fixes Lars' guitars. seems like a nice guy.
