streamlined? it was the exact opposite of what was expected of them, and is one of the most creative and exciting punk records ever. i agreed that the self-titled record was the best when i was 14 and had no bearing of what punk could be.

I think its not a question of what is their best album...but which album is the most punk. Self titled (US) takes the prize for me.

although L.A.M.F. comes very close as well....damnit, i can't decide anymore.

London Calling is definitely a very good one, I really enjoy the Clash a lot lately. Bad Religion's "Suffer" is really good, my favorite album of all times basically. Ass Cobra by Turbonegro is a real classic, too and the first four Ramones records are just awesome.
