  20 years of listening to the Orb, and I've finally decided on which versions of Towers of Dub rock the best: 1. The U.F.Orb LP Version. Reason: Marney Pax on the Harmonica and the extended ambient bells opening. 2. The 'Solaris/Visitor' version. This version turned up around 1994 on a variety of bootlegs. The quality is 'decent' and contains elements from the U.F.Orb version as well as the 'Timothy Leary Trip of the Month' -- also known as the 'original version'. What makes this version so good is the break down, baseline drops out, skank chords rip with a wicked spring reverb/ High Pass Filter sweep rim that rides the track back in. 3. Finally, My personal favorite -- the Woodstock 94 version. Hands down the most hands on version of TOD ever; the genius of the aria vocal, dj'd in by hand... on beat and on key, and the human drum and bass elements push this version over the edge. The Orb should consider releasing these gems on a proper anthology.
