Polish act ILUZJON was formed by composer and keyboardist Michal Dziadosz, initially cooperating with Mateusz Ksiazek (guitars), subsequenly replaced by Paul Sierakowski (guitars, bass) in 2002. Greg Nowak (drums) joined the band in 2003, and this line-up recorded and released their debut album City Zen in 2005. Not uncommon for a band unit a phase of line-up alterations followed, with Sierakowski replaced by Slawomir Jaros (guitars). With no permanent member to handle bass guitar duties at this point, these were handled by Grzegoslaw Dziadulinski for their 2007 production No Phantoms In.

Silent Andromeda from 2009 is the band's most recent effort, sporting the same core line-up as on their previous album and with Marcin Drumew (bass) a permanent member at this point. Following the album release a new bout up line-up alterations was in store. Jaros left to be replaced by Katarzyna Makowska (guitars), and apparently long serving member Nowak has been replaced by Waldemar Ogrodniczak (drums). The latest information issued by Iluzjon is that they are working on their fourth album, and that an extensive period of creation is in store for this forthcoming production.
