Terrific stuff, especially the first couple of releases. I've only listened to the self-titled EP and Stand in Line so far. Graham Bonnet sounds fantastic on Stand in Line. Chris Impellitteri is up there with Michael Angelo Batio, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Stump and any other guitar shredders you can think of!

@tepsaj are you being serious? I can't tell haha. But if you are being serious, I thought I'd inform you that there are plenty of Christian bands that have hard-to-understand vocals and there are plenty of satanic bands that have easy-to-understand vocals. I would say there isn't much of a correlation.

I think their best album is their very first EP. It sure does sound ugly but each song is a unique fucking masterpiece.

"Tonight I Fly" is pure GREAT Bonnet vocals, I really dig the "Stand in Line" album, I have listened to some Impelliteri the last days. I thought he was a pointless shredder, but he really got some chops and riffs as well.

I love this band, but holy shit, Live they need to stop backup vocals, they are horrid and make the Live songs unlistenable.

Sure, Rob Rock's bringing in Christian listeners, but I'd put money on a bet saying he puts off a lot more non-Christian listeners which off-sets the effect. He's a talented singer, don't get me misunderstand me, and it's not the Christian thing that puts me personally off him, but I think it puts off a lot of potential fans. Completely unrelated to the Christian thing I think some of his lyrics (eg. Last of a Dying Breed) succumb to just about every cliche in the book. "I will fight for my [whatever the end of the line was]" is the height of metal cliche, IMO. Obviously people like it, and I don't mean to come off as a troll, but these days I don't really dig those kind of lyrics. Graham's lyrics are not without cliche but they're an entirely different bunch of cliches (almost all either about prostitutes or rock itself) but I quite like those kind of lyrics. I might check out the Axel Rudi Pell album though, sounds like it might be good. (RR was also good on Avantasia.)

I'm Axel Rudi Pell fan, Rob Rock sang on the great Axel's "Nasty Reputation" album (i think this is the best Rock's work... maybe it's because Axel wrote all the lyrics :P), so I decided to found out more of Rob's music... His myspace said that he is "the voice of melodic metal", I didn't even know that he is christian metal singer. His lyrics (with Impellitteri) are very... classical, like 80's heavy metal lyrics should be... :P
