A Brilliant Madness – that’s the way journalists describe Insane Prototype project in their reviews of the band’s debut album, referring the project to the genre of Dark Epic Rock.
The project has been founded in October 2012, in Pokrov, Russia, by Dmitry “Dekeey” Kalinin, the founder of fairly well-known Russian electronic band “The Phase” and guitarist Andrei Knyazev. Jointly, they have recorded the album “These Seven Words Do Not Mean Anything” for 6 months, which formed the basis material from Dekeey, recorded in his home studio a year earlier.
After release, the album received complimentary reviews from Western journalists and netizens. A great surprise for the band has become promotion from their fan from California, USA, who advertised the album, walking along Hollywood Boulevard with CD cover, holding a boombox up above his head and playing one of Insane Prototype tracks.
At the moment the band actively performs and prepares to record a new material.
