The Drums returned to our studio, a little over a year since their initial session with Last.fm Presents. This time around the quirky indie-pop band has a new album to spotlight, Portamento.

The vast amount of positive critical reception from far and wide that followed the release of M83.‘s new record, Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming couldn’t have been predicted by anyone. Indie-rock darlings Yuck stopped by the Last.fm Presents studio in New York recently and performed four songs from their brilliant, critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album. They also sat down for a conversation.

Watch them do “Soothe Me,” which is now featured as part of the deluxe edition bonus CD. By the time the song was finally finished, it was too late to be included on the original release. Yuck also performed three additional songs from the album and chatted with us.
