Hello.
2009 absolutely kicked 2008's arse, big time. A splendid way to end the decade. Some outrageously good albums, a few decade-defining ones and no real disappointments. Which was nice. Also, getting to see The Flaming Lips in concert was so unbelievably badass I'd encourage you to stop at NOTHING to go see them. Continuing the live music theme, Benicassim '09 was one of the more life-changing events of my short, oh-so-short, existence. Especially Hurricane Ben(icassim). ANYWAY, here comes my listery. Heads up.
