Loving Eric Hutchinson. Heard him on the podcast of Acoutic Lounge out of San Francisco, and loved the sound of just him and the guitar on All Over Now and Rock & Roll. Going to see him with Missy Higgins at the Birchmere in August. Seems like a little bit of a strange pairing, but then maybe Missy's gotten a little bit more soulful since Sound of White. I truly loved that album with the part of my brain that enjoys straightforward-sappy-pretty music (Nightminds, Special Two). But perhaps she's got more like This Is How It Goes on her second album, which I would be more in the mood for after hearing Mr. Hutchinson.
