'83.. so you're roughly 27? That ain't old at all..haha, my best friend is 24, and some of her friends are a bit older, and I got 3 older brothers, 26, 30 & 23, so I'm used to people older than me.. but if you were born in the 80s how could you not appreciate the music from around that time?! I wish I was born in the 70s and grew up in the 80s, 'cause that's the decade I totally belong to..haha

Well, I'm a huge Hillel Slovak fan, so that's why I said they're 80s not the 90s. Wait, what year were you born in?

I never said Lady Gaga sucked, I said she wouldn't exist without Queen. Actually influences mean everything. The most popular male artists out right now, Bruno Mars, Ne-Yo, Usher, etc are all heavily influenced by MJ, you hear it in their voice, and see it by looking at their style, and all I'm saying is, if they had no one to look up to, or motivate them to do what they do now, they would just all be regular people still. You can't argue with that, because even Fred Astaire and Dean Martin heavily influenced MJ, and he wouldn't of been the artist he was, without them.

Bro, Beyonce? She's no Shaka Khan, or Tina Turner, she has an amazing voice, but all those artists you've name wouldn't be anywhere if it weren't for the artists of the 80s. RHCP, were the 80s dude, not 90s. And Greenday...yeah, they suck too haha. I won't say that the 80s was the weakest period of the 20th century, because like I said, the best music ever made was in the 80s. Where would Lady Gaga be without Freddie Mercury & Madonna?

YOU SAW INCUBUS? They're my favorite band of all time. I don't thin Fungus Amoungus sounds anything like early Bizkit though. You've gained a bit of respect back now haha. However, I think you need to take a listen to classic 80s music once again.. If you do that, I'll give Limp Bizkit one more listen (won't make me like their music though) deal?

Simple Minds, Talking Heads, INX, Culture Club, Sugarhill Gang, Guns N roses, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Steve Winwood, dude, I could go on forever..literally. You exactly proved my point when you said Lady Gaga is the most talented muscian since MJ, who was most active when? IN THE 80S. And in your opinion, since then there hasn't been a more original artist, but its fucking Lady Gaga. I love her, but I'm saying, if she's the "best" artist of the decade, then that means music this decade has been extremely shit, which it has. You obviously don't appreciate good music, so this arguement is pointless.

Oh, and as for Snoop, R&G, which I think, was released in 04/05 ( I might be wrong, I honestly can't remember) was a DOPE album. Tha Blue Carpet Treatment wasn't amazing, but it was still alright, and I did like Ego Trippin', dispite the fact it wasn't well received by the public. I'm not a huge Snoop fan, its not like I'm arguing he's the best rapper ever (lol at that thought) but he's great, considering all the shit rappers out today (50 Cent, Soulja Boy, Flo Rida) You either love him or hate him.

Haha emotional and defensive?Don't you think that's a tad hypocritical since, you're the one calling me "brainless", all I said was you're not very smart, which you're not. The 80s were the BEST time in modern music. Rock, Pop, (not so much Rap) but everything was great. Listen to your argument, that today's music which is, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, 30 Seconds to Mars etc are better than Michael Jackson, Hall & Oates, Mr.Mister, Wham, Duran Duran & Pete Townshed ? Then you're obviously deaf, because honest to God, I've never met ANYONE, who says the 80s didn't produce good music. Bro, if anything, you haven't studied, nor taken HALF the music courses I have, I'm not saying that because I've studied music since I could remember, I know everything, but I know my music pretty damn well, alright? So before you waste my time, with you're ignorance, think of valid points to your arguement, rather than just saying "the 80s sucked"
