so far I've discovered two cool artists, Arovane (Uwe Zahn) and Mr. Projectile - a native of Minneapolis, MN where I used to live '99-04. Projectile is actually impressive, as it's unheard of to have an American electronic music producer to actually be 'good' y'know..with an exception of BT, well and a couple others.

Anyway.

I'm really into ambient/downtempo kind of music, the sound that's really smooth, more of a 'cosmic' feel to it. A few examples R_Elet and Underneath The Evening are kind of the music I'm talking about. They both have that "cosmic" sound, sorta taking you on a trip, a really surreal trip unlike the majority of electronic music, but then I haven't heard every IDM artist to be saying that. The point is, the SOUND. If you listen to those examples I listed, you'll know EXACTLY what I'm talking bout.
