I was inspired (challenged) to create a mix for a dear fiddler. My inclination was to load the playlist with indie rock violinists, which I did initially, but eventually whittled the list of songs down from a stringed assault, and added other acts.

As you can tell by the name of the mix, there was some Nina Simone originally planned, but her tracks didn't make it to the final product.
