John Cale - I'm pretty sure I recognized his name alone before realizing he was part of the VU. I'm sure last.fm had something to do with it. I listened to Paris 1919 once and was completely charmed.

We Are Scientists - Waiting for the day to come by when With Love and Squalor would be released. It was just around the time I was driving by myself, so driving to Best Buy to get it was one of those first times. I was so happy!
The Mars Volta - I remember being in Business Management class in my sophomore year of high school, just surfing the net (as we did) reading Amazon reviews for De-Loused in the Comatorium off the recommendation of fellow Evboard members.
