Sat 2 Feb – Jim McCray, The Was, Moses Roses, Thomas Whaling

The bands were all great. Moses Roses was a pleasant surprise— I only wish the liquor store across the street had been open so I could have seen their whole set.

Loved everybody and it was a great scene.

Thomas Whaling was incredibly beautiful in his performance- though he did a few times make the stage faux-pax of apologizing for his mistakes. I set him straight though, and then he breezed through the set.

Jim McCray snuck in for two songs at the end of Thomas' set. Debuted "wishing on running feet." This is a song that he had written circa 2000 about his love, Amanda Dinatale. This was the first performance of it in that many years.
