My favorite jazz artists include Hank Mobley, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Ravi Coltrane, John Patittuci, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Bobby Hutcherson, Johnny Griffin, Jimmy Smith, Dexter Gordon, Charles Mingus, Lee Morgan, Art Tatum, Count Basie, Tord Gustavsen, Nik Bartsch, Marcin Wasilewski, Thelonius Monk, Ornette Coleman, Eric Dolphy, Herbie Hancock, Joe Lovano, Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Bill Evans, Wayne Shorter, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Paul Chambers, Bud Powell, Art Blakey, Thad Jones, Horace Silver, Andrew Hill, Pat Metheny, Dave Holland, Niels Henning Orsted Pederson, Oscar Peterson, Louis Armstrong, Kenny Dorham, Kenny Burrell, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, Kurt Elling and pop/jazz/funk group Level 42 to name a few.
