I just saw a advance screening of Sweeney Todd today! :) The movie doesn't come out for everyone until Dec21st but because I dressed in costume for Sanctuary (goth night at a club) I received a double pass for Dec13th.

I felt that it was missing something more. I assume they cut some of the scenes out from the theater play to fit it into movie time. It was kinda to dramatic in some parts and surprisingly funny in other parts. Over all it was really good. I'm totally gonna go see it again. Maybe with black_a-chan? :)

My two most favorite actors Johnny Depp and Alan Rickman did a great job singing. Johnny couldn't project his voice very loudly so its a good thing its a movie not a theater play because his voice wouldn't reach very far in the rows. Alan stuck to soft singing which is perfect for his voice. Their duet had me biting my lip and clutching my armrest…omgsodamnhoti'msoconflicted!

Some of the music really sticks in your head to. That would be Tim Burton's influence. ;) He makes things really stick in your head.

I cant wait to buy the cd! The full track edition comes out Dec18th. I hate waiting. :/
