    I think these words "being yourself" are crap, you must be really obsessed with that being yourself stuff, and if you would truly be the one you pretend (that yourself shit :D) you wouldn't have a doubt about a things like these and never care what others do or whatever. I bet a man that is himself as you call so, never thinks of things like "others do that so i won't be myself now, i won't do this", you should just do things you like, you enjoy or you think it is wise to do so even if you don't enjoy it. Now i could call you not the first of yourself, but the next of the others "yourselfers". :>

i'm melanie. i grew up in the wrong generation. henry rollins is my absolute hero. i adore 80s hardcore & all the ideas behind it. i hate elitist assholes who think that because you listen to one genre of music, you can't listen to another. i don't enjoy death metal. i enjoy poppy punk as a guilty pleasure. i also can rock the cascada like no other. i hate drug use in general. i guess you can call me straightedge, but i hate that label. 'intelligent' sounds better. the music i listen to is who i am. i don't think i'm better than you, i just listen to better music.

love hardcore. hate the people who listen to it.

my tattooo =]
this represents a change in my life. finding black flag & opening the pandora's box that is 80's hardcore was the best thing that ever happened to me. my tattoo represents liberation & self-respect. it represents strength, & being yourself. it represents the fundamentals of who i am today. & no, i will never regret getting it.
& if you don't know what it is, please do not ask. it's annoying as hell. the people i would want to know, would know what it is.
