1. How did you get into no.29?
The Get Up Kids - I saw their video for Action and Action on Rage one night. One Dollar Short were programming. In fact it had just ticked over to Sunday morning on the 9th of June 2003, around 12:20AM. I also got introduced to Saves The Day, and Rival Schools by that Rage viewing.

2. What's the first song you ever heard by no.22?
Jebediah. Probably Leaving Home. I used to run around Target singing it and scooting around on a trolley. I was supposed to be working. I guess I was collecting abandoned trolleys from throughout the store.

3. Whats your favourite lyric by no.33?
Hrmm, Regina Spektor has some great lyrics. I am tempted to say the russian bit from the middle of Apres Moi.

4. How did you get into no.49?
The Fergusons first came into my life when I convinced my parents to buy me one of those WAMI sampler CD's. The Fergusons were my favourite thing on it, closely beating out Klippspringer. So I bought a few EP's and went to a few local shows. good times.

5. How many albums by no.13 do you own?
Kings Of Leon. Two. Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak. Their two best in my opinion. Sometimes their somewhat boring current output nearly distracts me from how awesome they were back in 2003.

6. What is your favorite song by no.50?
Arctic Monkeys - Fake Tales Of San Francisco. No, no, no. When The Sun Goes Down, WhenThe Sun Goes Down.

7. Is there a song by no.39 that makes you sad?
The Thrills are a bit wistful and nostalgic sometimes, but they are generally a happy band. Deckchairs and Cigarettes is a little mopey. and …Corey Haim was sad on the day that the real Corey Haim died.

8. What is your favorite song by no.15?
QOTSA. It is a toss up between 'Feelgood Hit Of The Summer' and 'No One Knows'. I think 'No One Knows' wins by a nose.

9. What is your favorite song by no.5?
The Strokes - Someday.

10. Is there a song by no.6 that makes you happy?
Placebo - Brick Shithouse. It is so crunchy and grating that it makes me smile.

11. What is the worst song by no.40?
Greenday - Probably something off of Warning. It seemed like half of that album was just one long polka song.

12. What is your favorite song by no.10?
Jimmy Eat World - A Praise Chorus. Definitely. One of the best songs ever written. I am shocked by how easy some of these are.

13. What is a good memory you have involving no.30?
I remember going to see the Black Keys at the Becks Verandah with Ricky and Aidos and rocking out like a banshee. At least I think Aidos was there?

14. What is your favorite song by no.38?
Camera Obscura. That would be the one with all the motown style drums. Ummm, I think it is called ' If Looks Could Kill'.

15. Is there a song by no.19 that makes you happy?
The Who. Their cover of Summertime Blues is a pretty sure bet to put a smile on my face.

Vampire Weekend - The Kids Don't Stand a Chance.

17. What is the first song you ever heard by 23?
Tenacious D. Tribute. I saw it on Rage and I thought to myself "Oh yeah, I've heard of these guys, I get the feeling that I will like them".

Bob Dylan. Leopardskin Pillbox Hat.

21. What is a good memory involving no.27?
The Hives. One of the best live shows of all time. Great fun, with great friends. Loud speakers, ringing ears and a 17 song encore.

22. What is your favorite song by no.16?
Evan Dando. This, is hard. I'm gonna go with Stove, because it is so full of emotion and loss and it is a song about a Stove.

23. What is the first song you ever heard by no.47?
The Bank Holidays. The first time I saw them was at an In The Pines a long time ago. A rare happy In The Pines moment. Don't remember the first track they played though.

Belle and Sebastian - If You're Feeling Sinister.

Foo Fighters - For All The Cows.

26. What is the first song you ever heard by no.26?
Wow. Bowie was around forever, but was always kind of in the background. the first time he came to the foreground was when Tenacious D programmed Suffragette City on Rage at 2:30 on Sunday morning 14th of July 2002.

27. What is your favorite album by no.3?
Rilo Kiley - More Adventurous. This is one of my favourite albums of ALL TIME.

28. What is you favorite song by no.2?
Weezer - Say It Aint So. One of the best moments of my life was when I first played this song on my guitar, and it kind sounded right. OMG!

29. What was the first song you ever heard by no.32?
Regurgitator - Black Bugs. I think.

30. What is you favorite song by no.8?
Modest Mouse. This is really hard. I guess I would say Dancehall today, but this answer probably changes everyday.

31. How many times have you seen no.17 live?
The Dandy Warhols. I have seen these guys twice. Once at the Big Day Out, and once at Southbound. Nowhere near as good live as they are recorded, but if you go in with low expectations and a positive attitude you can have an AWESOME time.

32. Is there a song by no.44 that makes you happy?
Architecture in Helsinki - Owls Go. (owls go)

33. How did you get into no.12?
OK Go. As with everyone else, I fell in love with OK Go because they had a catchy song attached to an awesome video clip. However, unlike everyone else, the song/clip that I fell in love with was Get Over It and not Here It Goes Again.

34. What is the best song by no.45?
The Mountain Goats - This Year.

35. What was the first song you ever heard by no.34?
Spiderbait - Calypso. I remember it being on Video Hits, and then eventually it ended it's run on TV and I was dissappointed that I would never get to listen to it again. But then I got older and bought the album with my own money. Woo.

36. What was the first song you ever heard by no.48?
The first Cat Power song I ever heard was Cross Bones Style. Programmed on Rage by Tenacious D.

37. How many times have you seen no.42 live?
Death cab For Cutie. I think I have seen them three times live? Definitely at least two. I think three times though. They are all such great experiences and they all kinda run together in my memories. I remember going to at least one show with a big group of people (including Ferg, Rachel, Boomer) and going to one show with Ness. I also remember going to one show where Gibbard was really skinny.

38. What is you favorite song by no.36?
Devils Haircut. Hands down. Best Beck song. Rocks my damn socks.

39. What was the first song you ever heard by no.28?
Probably Mrs Robinson. I didn't really get into these guys until well after their peak.

40. What is you favorite album by no.7?
Ben Kweller. Sha sha. Sha do.

41. Is there a song by no.31 that makes you happy?
Answering Bell.

TLC - Crazy. Sexy. Cool.

43. What is your favorite song by no.24?
The Moldy Peaches. Steak For Chicken. This song really explores what two people doing a duet can do. It is like two songs rolled into one and the listener makes a hundred little choices throughout the playing time about wi=hich song he or she wants to listen to.

44. What is a good memory you have involving no.46?
Wilco. Grooving along to Shot In The Arm while listening to it on a train in Europe and plauing the first Professor Layton game.

45. What is your favorite song by no.35?
Yo La Tengo - Sugarcube. I almost always put this song on mix CD's that I make for people. Pure fuzzed out joy.

46. Is there a song by no.9 that makes you happy?
Flight of The Conchords. All of them do! But especially Bowie!

47. What is your favorite album by no.4?
The Beatles. I generally answer Rubber Soul to this question, but I think that maybe Help! or Abbey Road might be the new fave if I really think about it.
