Isaac Hayes - Shaft (1971)

The soundtrack to *the* blaxploitation film. Not that I've seen the original film either… this too needs to be fixed. I'm undecided about this one… I'm not a huge fan of this sort of 70's music, but Isaac Hayes has done a stunning job piecing this thing together I almost forgot. Having said that… it's not something I'm ever going to listen to again, with the exception of Theme from Shaft

It's not my thing, but I can see why it's in the 1001 albums to listen to. 3/5
