I think Dark Days/Light Years is a really good album and I like it a lot but it did take me a number of listens before I liked it so much, to start with I didn't like it as much.

That's not really that many times given that it has been pretty much my favourite song for about like four years

It sounds a lot better than the last one All In A Day as well.

The last two albums by Catch 22 have been shit so I didn't have high hopes for the third one, Permanent Revolution. However its actually really good ! Rather than another collection of mediocre generica songs this is like, a concept album about the life of Leon Trotsky ? There are a couple of songs which stand out as gems (like Alma Ata (1928) and Epilogue) and the whole album is just pretty good to listen to.

I have had their album off of the internet for a while but I started listening to The Moon Invaders not very long ago ! It turns out they're really good ! One element I like is Vic Rice's production which I think is also one of the reasons I like The Stingers ATX. Anyway the point is that everything I listen to is awesome

Right now I'm watching the DVD Eels - Live At Town Hall. It's a really good DVD! I think it's a lot better than being at one of the shows because of you can see more! I don't know though cos I never went to one of the shows. They were probably good too!

If you don't have the DVD but you do like the Eels you should get the DVD because it's a good DVD.

Desmond Dekker died yesterday of something deadly. This is really sad news as he was a cool guy and it would be better if he was still alive. On the plus side, at least he didn't die before he made all those records. RIP buddy.

Well top of my chart by an enourmous margin are The Fiery Furnaces. That probably is because they have made a lot of really good albums!
